Maroon Group Hires Director of Regulatory Affairs

AVON, OH, October 25, 2018. Maroon Group LLC, a world-class distributor of specialty chemicals and ingredients, announces the addition of Scott Simmons, Director of Regulatory Affairs, to coordinate all cohesive corporate regulatory activities.

Scott has an extensive chemical industry background, most recently serving as the Manager, Product Compliance Americas for Lubrizol Corp., in which he led the compliance team for North American regulations. He has chemical knowledge and a breadth of regulatory experience with Industrial, food & care products, end markets, and has been involved with the integration of various acquisitions. Scott holds a BS in Chemistry from Ohio University, a MS in Organic Chemistry from the University of Dayton, and is currently working on his MBA at Villanova.
